The National Service Authority (NSA) has officially released PIN codes for 132,393 prospective national service personnel from 100 accredited tertiary institutions for the 2025/2026 service year. This was announced in a press release issued on Tuesday, June 17.

The NSA reported a significant improvement in data integrity due to stricter validation protocols and improved transparency. This year’s intake is about 26% lower than the average figures from the previous three years, with a peak reduction of 36% compared to the 2022/2023 cycle.

A total of 135,990 submissions were received from 122 institutions. However, 3,597 of these came from 22 unaccredited institutions not recognized by the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC). Graduates from these institutions will not be mobilized unless their schools regularize their accreditation within 30 days.

Additionally, 908 private applicants — including Ghanaian students who studied abroad, deferred past service, or defaulted — are undergoing final verification. They are advised to contact NSA support if PIN codes are not available by June 24, 2025.
