West Ham reach Europa Conference League final

Published

on

West Ham United reached their first major European final since 1976 after they overcame AZ Alkmaar in their Europa Conference League semi-final.

Having won the first leg at London Stadium 2-1, the Hammers were resolute away to their Dutch opponents, reaching the final in Prague on 7 June with a 1-0 second-leg win.

David Moyes’ side soaked up plenty of pressure at AFAS Stadium until Pablo Fornals scored on the counter-attack in second-half injury time.

The night, however, was soured by what appeared to be unpleasant scenes off the pitch.

AZ Alkmaar appeared to attack an area in which friends and family of the West Ham players were watching the match.

West Ham will face Fiorentina, who beat Basel in extra time in the other semi-final.

The Hammers are hoping to lift their first major trophy since they lifted the 1980 FA Cup; they were one of three winners of the 1999 Intertoto Cup.

D-Black finally addresses rumours about relationship with Fella Makafui

Published

on

Musician and businessman D-Black has clarified his relationship with Fella Makafui whose marriage with rapper, Medikal has hit a snag.

In the past month, D-Black was seen in a video circulated on social media lightning a cigar for Fella Makafui, which sparked fury in her estranged husband.

Medikal, clearly unhappy with the situation, expressed his sentiments, calling D Black a fake industry player. He emphasised that he could never do such a thing to D-Black out of respect.

In view of this, he recorded a diss song titled ‘Just in Case’, targeted at D-Black.

But D-Black said he has nothing to do with the marital crisis of the celebrity couple.

In a series of tweets, D-Black, addressing the controversy for the first time, said he did not hand Fella the cigar roll but only lighted it on her request.

He explained that Fella bought the cigar with her own money and only approached him to light it up for her.

D-Black further rubbish all allegations of being romantically involved with Fella Makafui, adding that he has not even set eyes on her in over two years.

He asked Medikal to reach out to him if he had any grievances and to quit ranting on social media.

Meanwhile, Fella Makafui had earlier denied any romantic involvement with D-Black.

She clarified that D-Black was nothing but a brother.

Fella Makafui noted that she would rather people stop the speculations than disrespect the rapper’s family.
