In Ahanta West, the Municipal Chief Executive, Ing. Ebenezer Aidoo, is stepping up efforts to drive development by working hand-in-hand with traditional leaders.

This week, he paid a visit to Nana Eziaku IV, Chief of Agona Ahanta and Acting President of the Ahanta Traditional Council. The meeting focused on strengthening ties between the Assembly and the traditional authorities.

Speaking during the visit, the MCE said strong cooperation between the local government and chiefs is essential for lasting peace and development in the municipality.

The two leaders discussed key challenges affecting the area—including poor education, issues in the health sector, and high unemployment.

They agreed to work closely to improve schools and healthcare facilities. They also plan to involve more stakeholders to support job creation and boost local businesses.

Ing. Aidoo assured the chiefs and the people of Ahanta West that he remains committed to bringing faster development, more jobs, and a peaceful environment.

He added that these are top priorities in line with the President’s vision for the district.
