A dramatic scene unfolded at the Asenua Presbyterian Junior High School Examination Centre in Mamponteng, Ashanti Region, on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, when a pregnant BECE candidate went into labor during her IT paper.
According to eyewitnesses, the student excused herself to use the washroom but was soon found in active labour by a policewoman stationed at the center. She was quickly moved to the headmaster’s office, where she delivered a healthy baby boy.
