In a recent conversation with Quorby Spencer on Melody FM’s “Homestretch”, Egya Ampabeng, alongside Chelsy Sey, shared their vision for the future of Western music.
The team’s first initiative, Western Music Dialogue, promises to be a game-changer. Scheduled to take place on June 20th at SSNIT House, starting at 9am, the event will bring together music creatives, investors, media professionals, and anyone passionate about supporting the agenda.
The dialogue will focus on the business side of the music industry, with renowned speakers including music producer Hammer, Lynx CEO Richie, and brand strategist Kofi Cephas. This gathering aims to educate and empower stakeholders, paving the way for a brighter future for Western music.
Following the Western Music Dialogue, the Western Music Agenda team plans to identify and support five market-ready artists, providing them with the necessary tools and resources to reach the top.
By doing so, they hope to inject new energy into the Western music scene and restore its former supremacy. With big names like Kofi Kinaata, Lasmid, Dope Nation, Keche, and Fameye already making waves, the region has the talent; now, it’s about harnessing that potential and taking it to the next level.
