Following their loss in their match Against La Côte d’Ivoire, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has consoled Nigerians.
CAF has said that Nigerians should not be tickled by their inability to win the just-ended 34th edition of the African Cup of Nations tournament.
According to CAF, Nigeria’s loss against La Côte d’Ivoire does not necessarily mean that their lives have come to an end.
They are of the view that since football still exists, Nigeria can one day also win the African Cup of Nations tournament.
CAF claims this is just the end of the competition and not the end of everything.
