Ghanaian Highlife music icon Dada KD has passed away. His family confirmed the sad news. Dada KD, whose real name was Nana Kwaku Duah, was loved for his emotional songs and smooth voice.
He gave Ghana many hit songs, including Tekyere Ma and Honey Love.
The cause of his death has not been shared yet.His death comes just days before he was set to perform in London on May 25. He was supposed to perform with stars like Obrafour, Slim Buster, and Kojo Blakk.
Dada KD won many fans with his music. In 2004, he was named Best Male Vocal Artist at the Ghana Music Awards UK.
