In collaboration with the Global Covenant of Mayors, three senior high schools — Ahantaman Girls SHS, Fijai SHS, and GSTS, will benefit from a bio-digester clean energy project, making Sekondi-Takoradi one of only three African cities implementing the program.

On health, over 4,000 residents have been vaccinated against MPOX, while 17,000 girls aged 9–14 received the HPV vaccine to prevent cervical cancer. Construction of two CHPS compounds at Eshiem and Kansaworodo is also underway to expand healthcare access.
