Fulham vs Burnley (Saturday, 3pm)

It has been a good week for Fulham, who progressed to the semi-finals of the Carabao Cup with a penalty shootout victory away at Everton.

Burnley will hope that their freshness counts for something having had a full week off but the hosts have won their last two home games by a 5-0 scoreline.

Prediction: Fulham 2-0 Burnley

Luton vs Newcastle (Saturday, 3pm)

Newcastle were eliminated from the Carabao Cup this week

Luton are back in action for the first time since their match against Bournemouth was abandoned after captain Tom Lockyer collapsed on the pitch.

Newcastle plucked defeat from the jaws of victory in midweek when they conceded an equaliser away at Chelsea in added time before losing a penalty shootout. This could be another tough game.

Prediction: Luton 1-1 Newcastle

Nottingham Forest vs Bournemouth (Saturday, 3pm)

Nottingham Forest play their first game under new manager Nuno Espirito Santo following the sacking of Steve Cooper.

They face one of the most in-form teams in the Premier League with Bournemouth unbeaten in five. The Cherries should extend that run.

Prediction: Nottingham Forest 1-2 Bournemouth

Tottenham vs Everton (Saturday, 3pm)

Tottenham have rediscovered their form with back-to-back wins but Ange Postecoglou has more selection problems with Destiny Udogie and Yves Bissouma both suspended.

Everton essentially extended their unbeaten record to five games with their midweek cup draw with Fulham, only to lose the resulting penalty shootout. This will be tight.

Prediction: Tottenham 2-1 Everton

Sunderland vs Coventry (Saturday, 3pm)

Michael Beale is the new manager of Sunderland
Michael Beale is the new manager of Sunderland

Michael Beale’s reign as Sunderland manager begins with a home game against Coventry.

Though 15th in the Championship, the visitors are in good form with a recent 2-1 loss at high-flying Ipswich being their only defeat in seven.

Prediction: Sunderland 1-1 Coventry

Liverpool vs Arsenal (Saturday, 5.30pm)

The top two in the Premier League clash on Saturday evening when Liverpool host leaders Arsenal.

Jurgen Klopp’s team are unbeaten at Anfield this season and with the Gunners having lost recent away trips to Newcastle and Aston Villa, you have to fancy the hosts.

The Electoral Commission (EC) has reassured the public that the missing Biometric Voter Registration (BVR) Kits cannot be utilised to access its system or data.

According to Dr Eric Bossman Asare, the BVRs, which include a laptop, are ineffective on their own and can only be activated by the EC.

Thus, they pose no threat to the integrity of elections, he stated.

Additionally, they cannot be used to register anyone during the ongoing limited voter registration exercise nor do they contain any sensitive data from the EC’s system, he said in an interview with JoyNews’ Evans Mensah.

Dr Bossman Asare stated, “The laptops on their own are insignificant. They are just like the laptops you use at your workplace. We’ve accounted for every single device that we’re going to be using.

“In 2020, when we did the registration, we bought 8,500 of the registration devices. We are not using all of them in this registration.”

“So that means the ones we are using now, we still have some there. So are you saying the EC will come and tell the Ghanaian people that five laptops are missing and we want to use those laptops to register people? Who in the EC is going to do that?” he quizzed.
